For this project, I used InDesign to create an original fashion magazine cover design. I found an editorial photo and was inspired by the pop of yellow agains a muted blue and checkered clothing. That is how I came up with the text color palette and decided to place the dark image against a white background.
This flat design required Adobe Illustrator. Driven by the prompt of transportation, this old-fashioned mode of transportation was given a cutesy color palette with hearts and polka dots. I used the curved line tool to create the hearts and trace an image of the roller skates.
I used this illustrious story to create magazine pages in Adobe. Learning how to create these sorts of pieces using real-life news stories was very insightful. Using columns, picas, pages and all sorts of other features allows the creative juices to flow.
Inspired by the Kendrick Lamar lyric, I created this project using Adobe Illustrator. The line's reference to "tripping" and color led me to this psychedelic design. I decided to allow the text to be where the crazy color came from and highlighted that with black wavy lines, letting the lyrics do all the talking for this typography poster.
Adobe InDesign allowed me to create this beautiful picture story of a young man who does not let getting his degree get in the way of his passion for the rodeo. I used lines as a subtle graphic element to fill in some empty space. Letting images tell the story nearly on their own with the help of some captions, this magazine-style story is one for the books.
Recreating my resume with free-range creativity on Adobe InDesign allowed me to think outside of the box. The range of tools on the platform allowed for me to create a grid for my background and meticulously create my color palette. I even included my own photo!
My business card, that I created in Adobe InDesign, included features such as my own logo and QR code, both also made in InDesign! I use my favorite color pink to create a stamp for myself. This along with my personal info and job title will make networking easy.
I used Photoshop for this image to completely reimagine the coloring. I wanted to highlight the stark contrast between the cool-toned, blue surrounding with a bright pink door in the foreground. On top of that, the lit portion of the blue wall is highlighted with a pink hue.
This here is a Podcast cover for what would be my friend and I's chatting hour on air. Using two photos under the same kind of lighting and both of our's favorite color, Photoshop helped me create this masterpiece. I even included two mugs using the mask tool.
Using Photoshop to create this brand content for social media is exactly what brands need nowadays. I found the brand's official font and used it to create a potential Instagram post that would garner engagement. Plus, my typical pink palette of course.
This here is the potential About Me page for a sustainable fashion brand. Using Photoshop, I created tabs for other pages of the website and built a personality for the company. Web design skills on the way.
An Andy Warhol inspired portrait done on Photoshop. Playing with colors on a candid photo, this playful rendition is timeless. One of the first of many.
I created this infographic using Adobe Illustrator. It provides information of leftist young voters. I created the stylized icons also on Illustrator.
This movie poster was done on Photoshop and was made using masks. When coloring in the mask, I used a blurry paintbrush to create the transition effect from one photo to the other. The theme of the poster is Dia de los Muertos inspired.
